This lidded box is made of spalted Anglesey beech. Spalting occurs on older or fallen trees and gives an extraordinary grain pattern or figure. The internal diameter of the box is 4.5 cms and its 9cms tall with the lid on.I think that this box would be a lovely gift for a wood lover.
