Fountain Pen from Canterbury Cathedral Timber

Description

This Fountain Pen is made of Oak reclaimed from the roof of Canterbury Cathedral during the last restoration. The timber was installed in the roof around 1400 so this Oak is well over 600 years old. I find old medieval nails in the wood which is fascinating. This pen has been made with gun metal style fittings and it comes with an ink reservoir fitted for use with an ink well but I also include a full, replaceable ink cartridge. This will be a lovely gift for the history buff in your life. They write nicely too !
