This lovely bowl is made of Anglesey yew and is one of the best examples of this glorious wood that I have been lucky to have in a long time. It is not a big piece at 15cms diameter but it certainly has presence. Plenty of classic orange Yew heartwood with some much deeper orange figure as well. The bowl is chunky with a rounded edge but doesn’t feel ‘wooden’ and is lovely to hold. This piece will look great on any sideboardand will make a delightful and special gift for a wood lover.
